OUR STORY
The story of Ocean Pure Australia began many years ago with a desire for a change in life and subsequent move to our farm in sunny Queensland.
I’m not what you would call a traditional farmer by any means and if someone would have told me I would be farming marine phytoplankton at some point in my life, I would not have believed them. But there was one thing I did know for sure, I wanted to grow something that would bring exceptional benefit to people both nutritionally and health-wise.
I had encountered the world of marine phytoplankton earlier in my life and always found this amazing organism fascinating. Not only the multitude of compounds contained within these little organisms but the benefits those compounds held and the benefit to the human body. It was while walking on the farm one day, reflecting on life, as one does, that growing marine phytoplankton fit for human consumption and deriving beneficial products from it the idea of Ocean Pure Australia was born.
It’s been an incredible journey to get to where we are today. From the construction of our first pond, growing and harvesting our first “crop” to developing the range of skin care and nutritional products you now see on our site. I am thrilled to share our continued journey with you for “good health inside and out”.
