Intensive Repair Skin Treatment is specially formulated and enriched with marine phytoplankton to nourish, hydrate and soothe damaged and sensitive skin.

Our Marine Phytoplankton is naturally rich in omega-3 (EPA), protein, amino acids, chlorophyll, astaxanthin (a powerful antioxidant) and contains many of the vitamins and minerals essential for good skin health.

Once harvested, we take our marine phytoplankton and blend it with Marine Phytoplankton, Aloe Vera, Papain, Propolis, Moringa, Turmeric, Vitamin E and Vanilla Extract.

What’s so good about that?

OMEGA-3 has excellent topical benefits for the skin. Omega-3 fatty acids help the skin retain moisture, regulate oil production, and maintain elasticity. Topical application of omega-3 fatty acids lessens UV-induced photo-damage, external signs of aging, and anti-inflammatory skin responses.

PROTEIN – Studies have found that by topically applying protein (peptides) to the skin, the body thinks it’s receiving a message to produce new collagen. This collagen production helps to reduce wrinkles and to provide more elasticity to the skin, which is what gives skin its youthful appearance.

AMINO ACIDS help strengthen the skin’s natural defence system, making it less likely to show signs of aging from environmental damage. Hydrated skin is healthy skin and research has shown that amino acids when applied topically have great hydrating ability. Amino Acids also stimulate collagen production, which, in turn improves the appearance of lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, and other signs of aging.

CHLOROPHYLL works as an antibacterial as well as an anti-inflammatory. It’s even been scientifically proven to increase the rate of healing wounds, (great for the treatment of acne), chlorophyll can also help speed up cell turnover and clear skin faster.

ASTAXANTHIN has the ability to increase skin moisture, moisture retention, elasticity, as well as promote skin smoothness, decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. It also has incredible UV-blocking properties, which helps to assist the skin in protecting itself against sun-related damage, diminishing age spots, freckles, and dark eye circles gradually. Astaxanthin can neutralize multiple free radicals at once, protecting your skin from oxidation, damage, and inflammation and has been proven to increase blood flow, meaning that it will help your skin to have better circulation. The anti-inflammatory activity of astaxanthin can help reduce puffiness and redness.

ALOE VERA provides a protective layer to the skin, which helps to retain moisture. Aloe is also rich in antioxidants and minerals, which can help speed healing. It softens the skin without clogging pores. Aloe Vera is also rich in vitamins C, E and beta-carotene (a pre-cursor to vitamin A), which helps smooth out wrinkles and signs of aging, maintain a youthful looking skin. Its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties are great for keeping your skin clean, fresh and supple.

PAPAIN is very effective in skin renewal and skin lightening. It also functions as an exfoliator, skin softener and moisturizer and helps fight acne. What’s more, the enzyme helps the body combat free radicals, thus preventing premature ageing.

PROPOLIS has excellent Antibacterial, anti-fungal properties. Propolis also has powerful healing compounds and works quickly to regenerate damaged skin and to help make the skin texture smoother looking and supple.

MORINGA is high in vitamin C and helps boosts collagen production in the skin, which helps to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin. The vitamin-rich and nutrient-dense Moringa is high in antioxidants, and has excellent antibacterial and skin nourishing properties.

TURMERIC has great anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties so it is great for bringing soothing relief to irritated, inflamed or burnt/sun damaged skin. Turmeric also contains a natural antiseptic, which is effective for stopping the spread of bacteria making it a perfect treatment for wounds and helps to minimize scarring.

VITAMIN E has excellent moisturising properties and is great for treating dry or flaking skin. Because of this it can also help with skin repair and healing giving the skin a natural healthy glow.
